Our Countertops: Laminate, Granite & Quartz

At Max Kitchen & Bath, we have 3 main materials that we use for counter tops: Laminate, Granite and Quartz. Each coming in a variety of colors.

LAMINATE

Laminate countertops are a popular choice for kitchens and bathrooms due to their affordability, durability, and versatility. Made by bonding layers of plastic laminate material to a particleboard or plywood core, these countertops offer a wide range of colors, patterns, and textures to suit any design aesthetic. They are resistant to stains, heat, and scratches, making them easy to maintain and ideal for high-traffic areas.  With proper care, laminate countertops can provide years of functional and stylish service in any home.

GRANITE

Granite countertops are renowned for their timeless elegance and durability, making them a sought-after choice in kitchen and bathroom design. Formed from natural stone extracted from quarries and then polished to a high sheen, granite countertops exhibit unique patterns and variations, ensuring no two slabs are exactly alike. This natural variation adds character and charm to any space. Beyond aesthetics, granite countertops are highly resistant to scratches, heat, and stains, making them ideal for use in busy kitchens. While granite countertops may require sealing to maintain their pristine appearance, their longevity and enduring beauty make them a worthwhile investment for homeowners seeking both style and functionality in their living spaces.

QUARTZ

Quartz countertops have become increasingly popular in modern kitchen and bathroom design, prized for their durability, versatility, and low maintenance. Unlike natural stone countertops, quartz countertops are engineered by combining approximately 90% ground quartz crystals with resins, pigments, and other materials. This manufacturing process results in a surface that is non-porous, making it highly resistant to stains, scratches, and bacterial growth. Quartz countertops offer a wide range of colors and patterns, often mimicking the appearance of natural stone while providing a more uniform look. Additionally, quartz countertops require minimal upkeep, as they do not need to be sealed like natural stone surfaces. With their blend of beauty and practicality, quartz countertops have become a favored choice for homeowners seeking a durable and stylish option for their living spaces.
